"Insurance with PJ Johnson is decently affordable. BUT THERE IS A CATCH. keep them updated on things with the house if you have house insurance.like water main gets replaced Tell them that. if something happens to the house and you know it's insured Make a claim ASAP also .car insurance is awesome. Make sure you research on how much damage happens to your car before you get insured. At the minimal 35 mph. . Do everything thing you can like if you rent a apartment or a house and you're the renter and you have renters insurance make sure it has fire sprinklers. And if you have a house like me And you plan on keeping it in the family And doing what ever it takes to keep it up then get Fire sprinklers. fire sprinklers are very expensive to buy and maintain . But but it will lower your bill. Next if you have a old construction house then you will need to if it's not up to modern code ..then it's highly recommended to bring it up to modern code and beyond ... like for electrical the j boxes could be swapped out if they're plastic for metal ones. The wiring could be swapped out for armored cable or metal conduit. and Romex on the inside. next we have the plumbing and security . plumbing should be brought up to code if it's not already .also that includes faucets for the outside. Make sure they're frost proof and all pipes are insulated and have freeze protection like a pipe heating cable . Next do everything in your power to get flood protection like automated valves in case of flood happens from a bursted pipe.also get a sump pump if you have a crawl space or a flood alarm for a crawl space. Next get a full security system. That does these three things1. Prevent a burglary. 2. Stop a attempted burglary. 3 catch a burglary in progress. That includes the criminals them self . This means burglar alarm professionally monitored and security system like a husband with an AR-15 😄🤣No. I think the cops rather have the burglar alive than dead. Oh and don't forget to fix structure issues. like sagging floors and beams or mold in crawl space along with cracks in drywall, plaster, sheetrock This is a sign of structural issues . And lastly hurricane, earthquake and tornado proof your home. It's a lot .It's expensive. but it brings your bill down a lot. Because there's nothing to ensure. 😄 No it just makes it more indestructible.the house ."

"Don’t do business with this company! I did in the past and when I need them they just canceled my insurance! Not just that, they send a letter to the DMV telling that I don’t have any insurance! Big lie. Because I do have insurance of course with another company. They are the worst insurance company ever believe me."

"I couldn't be happier that I switched to Allstate. Pj seems to have a knack for hiring rude and uncaring secretaries and it makes calling into the office a terrible experience. I shouldn't be surprised though because PJ herself treats clients like they don't matter at all. I called her once to ask why my rates had gone up. After being told it was a state wide rate hike I asked if I could do anything to bring it down. "No." Was the answer. She then followed, in the most condescending tone, with "if you want to look at other companies go ahead, but I beat the pants off Allstate every day." I hadn't mentioned switching to her. She had just given me the green light to do it though. Fast forward to now. I followed her advice and checked in with Allstate. I now have better coverage for nearly $50 less per month and an agent who actually cares. 5 stars on the advice, PJ, it's much appreciated by Allstate. True to form they also bungled my cancellation, telling me I would get a refund when I was actually going to owe them for a few days. No big deal other than planning purposes on my end but they can't get their info straight over there so why trust them with your insurance needs? And good luck when you call in needing to cancel. As soon as I made it clear that they couldn't keep me their tone changed from friendly to "fine we don't want you anyways" in a heartbeat. You could probably find a better agent by pulling names out of a hat."

"Worst customer service ever...their rates are way too high! The act like they don't know ther job. When I asked for a detailed policy print out it took an act of Congress to get it. I confronted them that they were excessively high in price upon comparing with other companies...all they said was "well you have not been happy with us anyway for awhile"...ummm..I think I need to call corporate. ..there maybe some funky pricing here."

"We recently changed banks and we're trying to get everything changed over for our payments and this agent chose to cancel my policy without ever making a phone call. She notified our apartment complex before ever notifying us saying the policy was about to be cancelled and proceeded even upon request via email to not call me and cancelled our policy and notified us 4 days after she cancelled the policy and all this during the floods here in Charleston. This agent has no concern for her clients or their well being and shouldn't be a representative of State Farm."

"I spoke with PJ regarding an insurance claim on my husbands vehicle, I have to admit, it was the worst customer service I have ever had with an insurance company. Not only was she prowling into my personal life, but she was extremely rude. The ladies that answered the phone Susan and Sandy are very nice. I would not suggest anyone to use her as their local agent and I will be switching ASAP.. Absolute worst service EVER!!!"
